Modernize Municipal Court for Efficiency and Cost Savings

Hamilton County’s courthouse is operating on outdated technology from 1997 – a system costing taxpayers an unsustainable millions of dollars each year to maintain. While other courts are embracing modern solutions for online access, reduced paper use, and faster case processing, we’re falling behind. Athena is committed to bringing our courts into the 21st century with a modern, efficient, and financially responsible system. Athena will be committed to modernizing these systems while saving the taxpayers of Hamilton County money in the long run. It’s time for progress that benefits everyone.

Provide Respect and Fairness for All:

Entering the courtroom should not mean sacrificing dignity. Athena’s background – raised in a hardworking, immigrant family, serving as a public defender, and holding a deep respect for the law – has instilled in her a profound commitment to treating every individual with the respect they deserve. Athena believes in a justice system where everyone is heard and treated fairly, regardless of their background.

Foster Greater Accessibility and Transparency in Our Justice System:

Athena is dedicated to breaking down barriers that prevent individuals from navigating the legal system effectively. This includes exploring innovative solutions to make court proceedings more accessible and understandable for everyone in Hamilton County. Furthermore, she believes in open communication and will work to demystify court processes, empowering the public with a clear understanding of how justice is served. By prioritizing both accessibility and transparency, Athena will build a stronger, more equitable justice system for our community.
